Although I dabble in playing the cello, I have a natural affinity towards the double bass.

Through many years of experience in repairs and fine-tuning double basses, I have become familiar with the unique problems and difficulties they can have. I’ve developed an expertise in identifying and skilfully overcoming the often subtle challenges involved.

Double basses have a wide range of resonance. After determining whether the bass is played in jazz, classical or another musical style, I pride myself in finding just the right sound needed so that the bass can live up to what is demanded from it.

Each instrument is entitled to a high quality repair, or - in certain cases - to a restoration process, which prolongs and maintains its durability and performance.
